Next to the Premier Inn and as you'd expect. However when I booked they asked if there were any requests. I asked to not be sat by a door. We were sat 6 foot from the door. The air con was blowing cold to add to that and it was uncomfortable. Asked to move, no problem, sorted. Food was good, well cooked and a decent size. Decaf coffee was atrocious, at best instant and very poor indeed. A poor end to the evening.
Hmm where is the salad? How long have the chips been sitting around like the ribs? Gross. Asked if I wanted any other sauce and never came back. I’ve asked for the bill and 30 mins later still waiting yet the place is practically empty.
Pretty damn good food for the price. Only Downside was tasting the Brussels and Carrots were cooked from frozen.. everything else was lush ! This was from the Festive menu. HairyFoodyGuy from youtube :

2x adult 1x 4 year old We thought we were lucky to get a table last minute. We were not, 1 hour + wait for food, as did the lady who ordered at the same time as us. When it finally came out my partners meal was cold, very cold. Mine was fine but it was a sharing combo and not a challenge to get to our table hot. The best part was that we got our money back for the meals. Never again.
They must have been short staffed that night. I only had the fish but it took ages to come, I had to ask the waitress to chase them up. Waitresses were very pleasant and doing their best, food not too good on that occasion, normally good though, I will visit again and still recommend
You cannot eat here unless you've booked 24 hours in advance which is understandable but disappointing. Could not book for the same day and they kicked out a lot of walk ins when we visited. However, the Tesco cafe across the road does a cheap and cheerful breakfast which was good, and the staff are extremely friendly, so if you're hungry and short on time, they're a much better option.
Absolutely delicious meal, complimented by supurb service. Our waitress/server Brooke has to be mentioned because she made us feel welcomed and nothing was too much trouble, everything served with a genuine smile. Will go again when in the area, even though its 70 miles from where i live its still tempting me back.
Probably won't return. Treat the family to a usall standard meal I thought. Put beside the kitchen access where the door kept banging! Service was very slow, so much do we decided against puddings. Lots of items not available and the food was quite poor. Eaten here a few times but won't return after tonight's disappointment.
James, the manager was absolutely great. He was very personable. I was enquiring about the area and he generously gave me local information. The family at another table overheard and joined in. It was brilliant, the sort of stuff pubs should be about. The venue is super affordable and generous portions, great ambience and lighting. A lovely visit for an evening meal to get me on the long drive. I fully recommend.
