Story

Our Mill is the finest example of a pre-industrial corn mill still extant in Scotland but besides the wonderful architecture & machinery and stories that live within, our gem of a nature reserve with walks by the Barry burn is open to all - all year for you to enjoy. An amazing place to soak up some local history and enjoy a wander amongst the wildlife.

Beautiful well kept little mill. Small fee and you get to go in a visit which is well worth it. The staff are lovely can't help you enough. If you like woodland walks have a walk up the river behind the mill and a short walk later past the lovely views and wildlife you come to the end which has a lovely waterfall. Lovely place would highly recommend a visit here.

Great visit to a truly wonderful throw back to our past! Visited on Easter Sunday with duck races in full swing. Educational and fun. Thanks NTS!!
