Went on a Friday afternoon and had a great time sitting with friends and having a few drinks.nHad some food as well, it was OK. Nothing to race about....nnAll staff were friendly and happy that answer questions.nnNeck Oil on tap was a bonus!
Visited the place for the first time and had a nice experience. There is a cafe in the basement. The place also boasts a gallery, and cinema and regularly hosts different events. The washrooms were clean, and people around the place were friendly and helpful.
Popped in for dinner. Hadn't booked but the staff were lovely and sorted a table for 5 people and it was busy. Very good food, fantastic service, great atmosphere and interesting venue. Definitely recommend. Mocktails were good as well. Clean toilets.
Great experience! It was my first visit to this place. Many things are happening in this beautiful building and I recommend you to plan your trip before giving DCA a visit. Regular movie screenings happen here and you can get those tickets at a very cheap rate. DCA was showing the latest Mission Impossible movie when I visited. An interesting exhibition from Zineb Sedira was also going on one side. I didn't visit the resto downstairs but heard they serve some good food. Do give DCA a visit if you are in Dundee. Moreover, it would be great if DCA is giving more publicity to all the events happening inside.
Shocking. Got in, was ignored by bar tender initially no I'll get you in a minute, then told to take a seat for table service. 10 minutes later still no service - cafe was less than 50%full so no excuse for being busy. Walked out and enjoyed a lovely drink in The Phoenix - won't be back in a hurry.....
