Very homely. When it's cold there's always a welcoming log fire. Excellent landlord Mike has everything in order. Several real ales - Mike really looks after his pumps and lines. I wouldn't ask for cocktails but what's on offer is good and fairly priced.

Top Bar, landlord very welcoming and some very nice ales and cold Strongbow Mmmmm. If he did food it would be 5 stars all the way

A great traditional pub full of friendly faces and welcome for all... including four legged friends. The Standard is what pubs used to be, the centre of the community. Would definitely recommend.

Great place for a drink friendly staff and a great quiz night

Stereotypical local pub - which is not a bad thing! Lines always appear clean, with a good quality draught available. Dog friendly as long as they are clean and well behaved! Somewhat upset that they have now removed the card machine so all transactions are now cash only, hence 4/5 rating.
