Absolutely beautiful location. The owners were friendly and were ever so helpful. It had everything needed for a holiday (thankfully because we had arrived from Greece with only hand luggage)!!. A fully equipped kitchen..huge fridge/ freezer.. satellite tv ...and gorgeous views!!

Great place , really nice caravan and friendly owners . I woulld highly recommend if you like a quiet relaxing holiday!

Modern caravan, great views, quiet area and 10 minute drive from Newton Stewart. Upon arrival we actually knocked at the cottage that is rented out as it was not clear where newcomers should go to book in, A simple sign as you come in would suffice but nonetheless, the person renting the cottage pointed us in the right direction. We only spoke to the owners twice, one to pay and get our keys and the other time to hand the keys back. We stayed in Caravan 1 for 4 nights, This caravan slept 6 with 3 bedrooms (4 single beds and one double) this could easily sleep 8 if two people slept on the sofa style seats. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need and more. We cooked our own meals two nights out of the four and had everything we needed. There was also a selection of Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate along with sugar milk and biscuits! The shower was one of the better ones I've used in a caravan. It had good water pressure and it held its temperature. There were no towels provided however this wasn't as issue as we had brought our own. Hand soap was provided and one roll of toilet paper. Free WiFi is offered and was actually quite good, we used it for general browsing and streaming videos however I believe at the time we were the only people staying so it may not be as good if others are using it. There is also a TV with a Freesat box. Newton Stewart is less than 10 minutes away by car, It has an Aldi and Sainsburys both of good size along with some smaller shops on the main street. There are apparently some good takeaways here as well however when we went to the Chinese restaurant/takeaway Dynasty we would have had to wait a couple of hours for our food. I'm sure it would have been well worth the wait but we didn't really have time so went to the Unicorn instead, The food here was lovely, prepared quickly and the staff were very friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, The caravan had everything we needed and was easily equipped for 1 or 2 week stays however the lack of things to do would probably put you off staying this long.
