This B and B is in a superb setting -we will return to Flowerbank House in the summer to take advantage of the riverside garden. Our room had a view of the Minnigaff Hills which we chose because we had 3 walks planned in that area. The breakfast was amazing. We loved the freshly prepared fruit and enjoyed choosing from the wide range of freshly cooked food. Di and Mick are great hosts with lots of local knowledge. Thanks for a great stay.
Just left Flowerbank B&B after a superb stay. It is a beautiful old Scottish house in a fabulous setting beside the River Cree. We enjoyed sitting by the river in the large private gardens. Rooms and Breakfast are all first class. Such a friendly place to stay.Rooms: 5/5
Flowerbank is a lovely house in a beautiful and quiet setting. The river Cree runs alongside the very large garden and the town of Newton Stewart is only a few minutes walk away. The house is perfectly positioned for visitors who enjoy a variety of interests and scenery. The hills, lochs, forests and stunning coastline are all only a short drive away. I have visited Flowerbank with my husband several times and the owners always make us feel very welcome in their comfortable home. They also serve great breakfasts each morning and we hope to return again next year.
Enjoyed a really comfortable stay in a lovely room overlooking the autumnal garden and river. Very good choice at breakfast, which was well presented in the very spacious, comfortable dining room.Rooms: 5/5
A lovely guest house with friendly owners. The house is set in a beautiful location next to the river. Breakfast was superb, cooked just as requested. All in all, a great place to stay
Lovely people, lovely house and garden, right on the river. Very warm welcome, great food and excellent value. Stayed many times over the years and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dumfries & Galloway.
Wonderful guest house, beautiful gardens, Mick and Di are extremely friendly hosts who can't do enough for you. Very recommended
