Good quality at a good price, you only get what you pay for, much better than all of the big chains, get a good selection of quality designs, highly recommended.

Went to Newcastle barker and stonehouse yesterday 28th august 2017 5:10pm didn't realise they had closed early for bank holidays. Ok fair enough showed them exactly what I was looking for showed the gentleman that I was interested in this dining table and says this isn't a dining table when it clearly states it is. He gets out his laptop and shows me exactly the same one think he was trying to be clever. Haha was on the sale I told him will this price remain the same he said yes 3times as I kept on asking him. Now I have been back on the web to cheak the price and the gentleman has been telling lies. I think he needs to now more about the items in store and get his customer service right.

This is a well-hidden gem for those who are less familiar with Newcastle - tucked away behind St. James Park football stadium. It's a much nicer branch than the one at the Metrocentre Retail park with a better range plus a small coffee shop/cafe with an excellent home-cooked menu and lovely staff. Best to get there early as there is very limited parking - and VERY IMPORTANTLY you have to get a free parking permit from staff on arrival or risk being clamped/charged (I guess this is to deter football parking and other shoppers going elsewhere). Other than that, highly recommended
