Came here to visit the Gregg's The Golden Flake pop-up pub. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful in the pub. Food was delicious. Went for a wander round the store in general and there is a wide range of goods, good range of kitchenware and a food hall with a variety of alcohol.
Went into the back far right and Greggs 2 beers. The Dounut jam was ace and great. Nice little pub, was expecting a sausage roll or steak slice but normal pub food and great little bar. They like if you order a table but 6 bar stools
We were in Fenwick department store looking for pictures for Kathryn and went up to have a look at the pictures. We found they had a lovely set of contemporary artists that would fit it lovely in our front room. The staff member assistance was second to none, well mannered and polite well dressed young girl, whom then went off and got the pictures out of stock. After returning she processed the purchase and wrapped up the pictures.nnWe then went for a coffee and cake before more shopping inshore.nnAll told a wonderful experience in a well stocked store that has been in Newcastle for many years. Well done to all staff and managers for keeping the high standards throughout the years. We will be back soon I'm sure. Many thanks. Matthew
Always love coming back Fenwicks. Born in Newcastle. Haven't been in today we just visited the window especially as is tradition before Christmas.
Quite blown away with this department store, they offer everything that is so often lost these days in terms of service and quality, it’s just excellent. We then tried the Greggs in the Tavern that was amazing, I love how they have upmarket the Gregg menu and service, same as the high street but offered more poshest ways, loved it and just thought this was a great combination.
