Bare Necessities was established over 20 years ago by Winchester beauty therapist Philippa Bendall.

From a select list of clients who visited her at home, Philippa moved the business to Winchester Tennis and Squash Club, where her client base flourished.
Before long, larger premises were needed to cope with demand and Philippa set up a new beauty salon in Otterbourne, which became Bare Necessities Urban Spa.

With Philippa’s attention to detail, industry experience and passion for the job, the reputation of Bare Necessites delivering an outstanding level of service became widely known. The business steadily grew over the next ten years.
Now, Philippa is delighted to bring you Bare Nessities Urban Beauty – her perfect combination of luxury, tranquility and expertise.
