The bank is good but there was a creepy white male staff member staring through the glass next to the entrance on Wednesday 26/06/2024 at 19:15, 4 hours after it was closed.
What an utter disgrace, they now shut at 3pm when Barclays have taken away almost every branch with counter services, the only options are the centre of Leeds or Bradford, which are a real pain to get to and now they have restricted hours. Might be time to swap to a different bank.
The only Bank in Leeds for miles and it closes at 3pm. What smart planning to be so inclusive of those that work during the day. Great job Barclays
I called in today and the Lady on the front desk dealt with my query and was very polite and courteous. Keep up the good work Barclays
i actually think that the service isn’t as people are saying it is. I came in to access my online banking and get a statement the line was long , but they were very polite and patient with me as my phone was slow at the time.
Spoke to lady called Angela regarding savings etc, the most helpful ember of staff! Explained everything fully and advised me on how to manage my accounts better
Barclays funds climate breakdown through companies like Equinor, who are behind the new Rosebank oil field. If you care about the future, bank with someone else.
The real rating is somewhere between abysmal and a clown show . queuing for 45 minutes late morning … 1 clerk , but 2 or 3 staff doing their utmosts to get you to self bank on terminals even though that process can’t deal with 50%. Of the customers . Great to be asked in a city centre bank with no door security how much you wish to withdraw … thanks for telling the world . The staff are scruffy and unkempt , for god’s sake you’re a bank not a bowling alley ! Unfortunately my other accounts at Lloyds are handled in an equally unprofessional manner ! These places are only in business due to lack of competition. Customer Service only exists in their marketing campaigns. 3 in the queue walked whilst we were waiting .
First time visit in years had to pay in a cheque and took the bus and only because EVERY other branch has been closed in Leeds ! Because of this I knew there would be a queue but even this location is minimalist inside...two counters I think and several side pods where you do things yourself. Huge queue. Hope I never have to go again.
Tracy was extremely helpful today assisting me so I wouldn’t be queuing for as long Thank you kindly
