Went for a birthday dinner last Saturday evening, arrived at 8pm and it was very busy but had quietened down by 9pm. The tables in the central area are very large squares with banquette style leather seating which felt a little awkward with 4 of us as we were arranged in a 'U' shape rather than a typical circular table arrangement where everyone is facing each other. That said, the views are great and the seating comfortable; the décor has also stood the test of time and still looks sleek some years after opening. The various main courses our party ordered (chicken, steak, fish) were all cooked as requested and tasted good although definitely over-priced. Starters were likewise well presented and tasty although very small portions. Our side of mash was forgotten so minus half a star there. The wine was good but again over-priced for the 'blends' they have on offer - bottles start at around £30 and rapidly increase - and it's interesting that some wines are actually cheaper to purchase by the glass. We were, however, offered tastings before committing to a bottle. Our waiter was very pushy in trying to get us to order additional sides and deserts which was a touch irritating so minus another half star there. Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening but it's expensive for what it is, there are definitely better options for the same money.

The best thing about this restaurant is the view! Incredible location, overlooking St Paul's cathedral - be sure to ask for a window seat. Unfortunately the mains were a little lacking considering the price tag. Some of the flavours simply didn't work together, and for the price I would expect better. However, that being said, I would highly recommend the short rib croquettes and calamari to start and the P.B.J for dessert!

Staff were pleasant and polite however had no real experience or knowledge. Felt a bit like ordering at a well designed McDonalds. Sat at the bar and struggled to order anything but particularly drinks - as one of 6 guests in the bar area and 4 staff visible it was quite disappointing. Food was on the bland side but passable, at that price though is 'passable' really what you want? Walking in I was surprised a Jamie Oliver restaurant would be this quiet, however walking out I was far less surprised. Room to improve.

We went for an impromptu treat. My wife's first first time here and she absolutely loved it. She's not a massive meat fan but our waitress made for a wonderful restaurant experience. Hasten to say the food was great but it goes to show how important attention to detail is when it comes to customer experience.
