Banya No.1

This was my first visit: members of staff were very welcoming and helpful, I felt very well looked after. I had the parenie treatment, which was amazing! There is a beautifully decorated relaxation area where you have your own booth and can order traditional food, tea and other drinks. I will definitely go back, and I would recommend Banya No1 to anyone looking for a wellness experience invigorating and original!

Never did I think that being rhythmically stroked with leaves could be so therapeutic; Banya No.1 exceeded my expectations, the staff were professional, the steam room was amazing, add to that the salt scrub and personal relaxation booth and you have a winner. Did I forget to mention the icy plunge pool? Exhilarating! I have already recommended this place to friends and family, and cannot wait to book my next treatment. Thank you so much for a very good end to 2022, see you soon!

I was pleasantly surprised how amazing this experience was. Fantastic massage. Piping hot steam room. Definitely could feel the demons coming out haha. Staff were all very nice and attentive. Very clean as well. I’d like it to be cheaper but everything is else is ace!

Had my first experience here with a couple of friends who have been visiting here quite often. The staff were friendly and very hard working - especially the banya therapists waving the Venik around in the hot room. It is an experience that is to be had that I can’t fully explain in words. You get a lot of heat, fanning, twig smacking and cold water! Whilst you wait for your treatment and after treatment, they have some yummy snacks and drinks that I very much enjoyed along with a lovely cold vodka shot. I definitely recommend at least trying once. I’m looking to go again some point this year. My visit was in the start of the snowy week where we went in on a cold London type of winter’s day, leaving to find London in a blizzard of snow like we were literally transferred over to Russia.

I really enjoyed Banya No1 and thought it was a very authentic Russian banya experience. The individual enclosed seating areas give privacy, the food menu is really authentic and food is very delicious. The parenie was amazing and seemed very authentic as well, I felt great after it. I will definitely come back again. The scrub was a little too harsh for my skin, but my friend loved it so may be there is a little bit of customisation and asking after first minute or so whether pressure is good or needs to be lighter / stronger. In terms of improvement, I think some bits of renovation are a bit dated and could be updated. The showers have quite a poor flow. That won’t stop me from coming, but just points of improvement.

We loved our afternoon here. We spent three hours here having parenie and mud mask treatments. The fire powered steam room is fantastic. The host staff are very welcoming. Good beer and carafes of vodka, as well as nice dumplings. Herring and other pickles are tasty but not for the faint-hearted!

Great place for your body and soul! Russian banya with great treatments, great Russian and Ukrainian food like Borsch, salo, pancakes with red caviar, etc

New to the Russian SPA experience, went on the recommendation of a friend. Had a fabulous time, staff was very polite and respectful. Amazing treatments, went for the silver package. Excellent service from treatments to food and drinks. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you for taking care of us!

Incredible experience - I had the gold package, the Parenie was very relaxing and detoxing, the facilities were extremely clean and the staff were wonderful. Definitely coming back! A real oasis in chaotic London

One of the most amazing experiences that I have EVER had! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. It was my first visit and they made a huge effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The Parenie treatment is exhilarating and you come out of there feeling transformed. HIGHLY recommended!
