As with any business 5 star reviews always tell you about a company when they get it right. Not when they get it wrong. I booked a massage for myself and wife before I went to bed. For early the following day. I didn’t check the app or my email every few minutes to check questions. I didn’t realise that a massage could be cancelled without a call or text. So as I didn’t respond to questions about parking or who the massages were for I got cancelled - with no warning - an hour before. I was asleep so couldn’t respond. Chat then took ages. And when you’re waiting for chat you get thrown off the queue if you want to do anything else on your phone. You also can’t speak to a human being - they’ve stopped that. And then I was told I had a credit. I asked for money back and this takes 2-3 days. Whereas when you book you pay immediately. Also the credit offered £5 / 3.5% does not seem to match the inconvenience. So I’d not recommend Urban as - when something goes wrong - they don’t really put the customer front and centre when they try to resolve.
Leaving this review with the hope that they'll fix their app. Three different payment options completely refuse to work with three different cards tried across multiple devices, with cards working fine elsewhere. Customer support says they won't do anything about it. Such a shame, the service itself was good.
I'm very disappointed with this service and certainly won't use it again in the future. My physiotherapist arrived 20 min late but didn't make up for that time at the end of our session so I paid £86 for about 30 min of treatment. She didn't bring a massage couch, something I was not aware of, so I received my treatment on my bed in a very uncomfortable way. On top of that, she didn't even remove the knot I had in my back. Absolutely not worth the money.
easy to book but the massage was just ok, not exceptional but not bad either. would probably try a different therapist next time.
Booked a massage for the 3rd time and have had the booking cancelled 2 hours before There’s no contact number to speak to anyone will not be using their service again
Second time in a row these guys have cancelled on me for a mani pedi with under 2 hrs to go until the appointment time. Completely useless and unreliable.
It's worth money. It helped me in my back pain. Felt so relaxed at the comfort of my own home.
Fantastic business and massages! Book a massage and have someone meet you at your location in just over an hour. Professional experienced masseurs who arrive with the massage tables. I have used this service for the last 3-4 years and they have never been late or sent anything other than true industry professionals. The app is very simple to use with status updates of arrival. Highly recommend this company!
Best service in London! I’m a massage therapist and I’ve been working through Urban for 5 years. I would recommend anyone to use this platform. Not only it allows clients to have access to a wide variety of therapists and to select a specific service with reviews for each therapist; but it also brings a safe way to therapists to develop a steady client base. I’ve always felt supported by urban when I needed support. Absolutely recommend!!
Cancelled a few hours before. No reason. No replacement. I have an aching back and this was all I was looking forward to, so really disappointed. Also had a voucher which gave me 50% off. Can now book another massage with £5 credit but no voucher. First time customer. Not bothering with them any further. Customer chat isn't working either.
