The gym has good facilities in terms of machines weights and the pool. There are many classes. However over the last 2 years standards have dropped. Many areas are grubby if not down right dirty. Heating the pool and the changing room has been problematic off and on. Staff listen to what you say but do nothing to put things right . They gym has taken on hundreds of new members but is not updating the facilities in any real way. It needs inversement but as always this is lacking even though membership is booming

*IF YOURE THINKING OF JOINING PLEASE READ* do not get a membership at this gym, I made the terrible mistake of getting a year pass and all I have to say is this is the worst, the swimsuit dryer has broken twice (not working now and doesn't even have a sign on it) doubt it's going to work again. The pool is always "under repairs" making it unusable for most of the day (In fact it is right now) even though it seems as if they have changed or fixed absolutely nothing. The pool is grim and has a build up of what seems to be sand and blasts cold water to a certain part of the pool. The changing rooms are never clean even though cleaners operate while people are getting changed, I've even seen cleaners sitting down talking while people where using the facilities. Also another thing is the wristbands, they have implemented a new system (which no one asked for or wanted) where you use a band to get in/get to your lockers, pretty nifty eh? Well until you lose your band and they want to charge you another £10 to get a new one (for the system you never asked for) on top of the £40+ you're already paying, it's actually ridiculous and I urge you to not go to this gym, it's ridiculously over priced. Some of these complaints may seem small but when paying £40+ a month, you should expect the best of the best, and you really don't get it here. Just go to Nuffields or the gym

Visited today for a spa day. This place is not a spa it's a gym and swimming facilities. Playing pitball on speaker with a water fitness class going on while you're trying to relax in the steamroom does not work. There is nothing relaxing about the facilities. I would certainly not recommend a spa day here!
