We had quite a positive experience at Banco Lounge on a lazy Saturday afternoon. We ordered a few different dishes to share as well as a main each - we were ravenous! The food was great and the espresso martini boozy - a shame it was served in a wine glass due to, I was told as it arrived, all the martini glasses having been broken. Worth checking out if you're after some laid-back atmosphere in a family-friendly environment.
Decent lounge bars, spacious and comfortable, interior decor is smart and interesting. Food menu is good, specials have some interesting options. Drink choices are varied and have a bit of everything. Service is friendly and welcoming. Has no parking.
I often visit this excellent spot for a quick bite to eat during the day or a cheeky post work beer. The service is great, the food & coffee are excellent. There is allot of care taken and attention to detail in the presentation of their food and they seem to take particular care if you have any allergy's or food intolerances. I would recommend it for its pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and great lunch options!
Great casual bar with a great selection of beers, cider and wine and an excellent food menu. Consistently excellent.
I absolutely love this place. Really lovely ambience at any time of the day. I like the decor too - lots of art. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and no request seems too much! The all day food menu and coffee are great GF and Vegan options are a bonus. It's also a lovely haunt for a spot of romantic evening dining. Overall Banco Lounge has a warm, community feel... they're very welcoming of kids and dogs, and our family intend to come back regularly!
Great experience and planning to visit every night whilst working in Bristol. Varied menu offering, great select of wines, whiskies and food. The service is excellent and friendly atmosphere. Travelled allot so knowing what stands out is obvious for me.. this is just a lovely place with lovely people. Ray
Always friendly service, a good variety of hot drinks including various herbal teas. They have a gluten free menu and a vegan one. U know what u r getting with any of the Lounge bars. I'm a fussy eater but always find something to my liking. Quite pricey though. If u sit near the window, there's a good view. It's a shame there's not room for outside seating though. Good for healthy eating options.
The breakfast is really enjoyable! Devoured it in seconds! Staff didn't seem 100% on the customer service front to be fair its the morning, busy and very loud but still was happy to solve a problem efficiently! Definitely recommend. Delicious food!
Food good, service friendly but we had to cut our visit short due to to the presence of two dogs in the cafe; my husband has a severe dog allergy which meant he had to go to Tescos to pick up antihistamines and was struggling to breathe even after that. What a shame we won't be visiting again.
Nice atmosphere, good coffee and service, but the meat in the cooked breakfast was cold, the fried egg was over cooked, and the hash-browns were cold and undercooked. Only visiting the area, so don’t know if this was just a bad day for the chef.
