Gorgeous spot with amazing light and view of the harbour. Staff are kind and competent. It was so busy on a Thursday that they had to turn big parties away at 12.15! Veggie breakfast was delicious with homemade baked beans and one of the nicest fried eggs I’ve had. Good coffee and fresh orange juice.
I’ve been wanting to go to Mud Dock for ages and it did not disappoint! The interior and bike theme is awesome. I had the chickpea salad which was great although it could have had more hummus and friends said the bean burger was fab. Thumbs up all round
Me and my partner had the English breakfast. It was super tasty and served piping hot. The only thing that was missing was some hashbrowns or even a nice touch of sliced potatoes would’ve gone well. The ingredients of the breakfast as a whole was quality which we prefer to spend that little bit more extra on than a cheap tasting breakfast. The outside furniture was comfortable and the view was beautiful.
Overall a pleasant experience. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. The food was good but not great, nothing went to waste. Certainly a popular place on a weekday lunchtime with two large groups enjoying their meals. Vegetarian options: The sweet potato soup was excellent Parking: The Grove car park adjoins the cafe.
Sharing board for two. Very tasty and great for a lunchtime snack. A little overpriced but good quality ingredients, so quite happy. Great selection of drinks. Nicely located by the river with commanding views.
We wanted a light lunch and thought this place was right up our street. Although not vegan, we ordered the vegan sharing board and throughly enjoyed it. Best falafel I’ve had in a long while and everything else was delicious. Staff were attentive and friendly. A bit overpriced but worth a visit.
Lovely staff, extremely accommodating, and super tasty food. We came here for breakfast twice, and and it was excellent. We were very impressed with the gluten free pancakes as standard!, and wouldn’t have known they were gluten free if the menu hadn’t said. Lovely outside terrace to sit out on if the weather allows, but inside lovely too. All round fab brunch spot I want to mention the staff again - excellent friendly welcome and service with a smile.
We have come here several times and always is amazing. The homemade pancakes are outstanding and the nutella and banana with hazelnuts make the taste incredible. We also had the chicken burguer and as the pancakes, amazing. The terrace they have is really nice for the sunny days and the inside is really cool with the decoration of the bicycles.
Great spot for brunch! I had an aromatic shashouka, which hit just the right tastebuds after a night out. Very homely and grounding atmosphere. They’ve managed to preserve the harbourside spirit of the venue, with added notes of artistic industrialism. Family friendly.Recommended dishesShakshuka
Only stopped for a coffee but my goodness what a coffee it was.... Day on the terrace and enjoyed the view... Did have a look at the menu and it looked really nice... aiming to come back to sample sometime
