Best prices for local hire and quick efficient service. Vehicles always in top condition and no surprises.
Van was clean in the cab but not in the back/box where I needed it to be because I was moving house, it was wet and muddy in the back so I spent quite a while drying out the area and then lining it with polythene before I could use it, all I got from the person when I returned the van is I'll get my cleaner's to take a look and clean it, no sorry or anything else.
Unwilling to explain insurance excess waiver. Told it had been explained to me on a previous hire despite the fact I had never previously considered taking waiver. Simply querying value of waiver if it doesn't cover fault claims, given no fault claims would see third party insured cover any repairs. Told they couldn't be bothered to explain waiver so I did not proceed with hire. Zero customer service.
Our son used them to come home for Christmas. Excellent!

Had great hires from this company in the past but not such a positive experience this time. Thought I was picking up one of the lovely C3s as had been told on the phone that one was available, and at a great price, but when I went to pick it up was told it hadn't been returned. For me the alternative I was given was not of equal quality in terms of robustness of build or features - no air con, navigation screen, or choice of seat positions. Decided to walk away but still had to pay for 48 hours of rental including full insurance. Doesn't seem fair.
I have hired a couple of vans and a car from them. And they have been nothing short of brilliant. No hassle, what you ask for is what you get, and the costs are very reasonable.
I have hired a car to spend the weekend visiting a few places and I had a great experience with Banbury Van & Car Hire. Friendly and helpful staff, good car and all at a good price.
Excellent customer service providing a large van at short notice when let down by a national hire company. Really quick to register personal information and payment. I would highly recommend and thank them for the service received.
