A decent play area that gets extremely busy during the summer. Extensive grounds in which to picnic or explore. Cute train track which operates during the spring and summer. My only gripe is the parking cost, but if it helps to maintain the area then it is money well spent. The cafe is a bit small.

It's very pretty. Nice and quiet on the January days I've visited on. Car parking is £1.80 for an hour or £3 for the day. There's a nice playground and the walls are pretty. Toilets and a cafe are handy. It's well maintained and a peaceful, friendly place.

Decent takeaway coffee at the cafe. Nice countryside and several pools with the usual Ducks and Moor hens. Not a place to go if not keen on dogs as very popular for dog walking means there are lots around.

I adore Baggeridge Park. So much space, plenty for everyone. One of my favourite things is the bird hide on the edge of the car park.

Ever since I was a child I have loved Baggeridge. You can either go for a long walk through the woods, have a picnic on the field, take your kids on the park, have a coffee in the cafe, or even do a bit of abseiling now. Also a great place for a touch of photography
