Absolutely gorgeous park and fortunately for us we live right by it .. The children’s playground is so well equipped for safety and enjoyment for them . The boating lake is a heaven of wildlife and boating in the summer months. The main feature of the park is it’s phenomenal Victorian glass house with it palms and splendid architecture, being recently restored its really quiet beautiful “ however the woman who’s job it is to watch the glass house during opening hours is absolutely HORRIBLE, rude , extremely aggressive and completely unapproachable “ so much so when friends and family come to visit us and take in the beauty of west park we actually point blank refuse to take them into the glass house for fear of what mood the watch keeper woman will be in and to avid the embarrassment of having to excuse her shocking attitude “ not what you’ll want visiting friends to experience at “ . However enter at your own risk because it’s really a magnificent addition to Wolverhampton’s most magnificent public space.

A park of which I know very well indeed, having spent a great deal of my formative years there playing football as a lad and a young teen!! Latterly, many walks have been taken through the beautiful park, taking in its' peace and solace as one wanders by the lake with the plethora of wildlife- swans, ducks, geese, squirrels coming close to you too as if to say 'hello'!!! Wonderful retreat for Wulfrunians as is yours truly, and thoroughly recommended if one appreciates nature in general!! X.

Great little Victorian Park. Plenty of parking around the perimeter. There is a circular footpath around the edge of the park which is great for cycling / jogging etc. The park features a large Victorian Green House with a wide collection of plants, and there is a cafe too! Big Lake in the middle with plenty of ducks and other wildlife. Take some nuts and feed the squirrels!

This Park is a treasure and boasts a regal aura amidst the open grounds, winding paths and proud landscaping. Home to many walks of wildlife, it also has a splendid lake and excellent tennis court's. West Park also has a bandstand, tea room, clean toilets and the childrens playing area has brilliant range of options. Popular money saving haunt for the thriving immigrants.

Really good in the week when it's quiet and children are in school. Also excellent if your dog likes squirrel spotting! Toilets are 10th but at least they are reasonably sanitary.
