Lovely place to walk. Plenty of parking. Dogs do need to be kept on a lead and the area on the left digs are not allowed.. Plenty of other places for you to go with them. There is a tea room inside the hall, a cafe and more recently a hot food/drinks van ( which is part of the cafe).

Reluctantly having to give one star after a very rude and off-putting experience at the cafe. Me and my friends entered the cafe and took a seat. A woman then came over to serve us and we said we needed a minute to decide what we wanted. She then came over again, we asked for a hot chocolate and she was extremely reluctant to give us one hot chocolate even though there were four of us. Good customer service right? We then payed for our hot chocolate where she preceded to take our money and then told us she was putting it in a takeaway cup so we could “pack up our stuff and get out” - it was incredibly rude and frustrating as it was so unjustified as we had bought something?! She told us she had “staff to pay and electricity to run” - yet we had bought something from the cafe and it wasn’t exactly busy in there. The service was outrageous and I will not be returning.

A great venue, spotlessly clean and great food. Large high ceiling rooms so not as warm as you'd really like in the winter but character and great gardens more than make up for this.

Beautiful park. Can get a bit muddy in places. A bit expensive on short term car parking (e.g. dog walking) but season tickets are available. Cafe, golf course and fishing also available, as well as occasional events. Also home to a sailing club. Note some parts restrict access for dogs.

Amazing park. Huge space for walking and cycling. Toalets are on there, benches, car par, small bistro. Lovley place to enjoy. Highly recommend.
