What a wonderful model village! We had no wait to get in, but I know it can be busy during the summer as it is very popular. It is slightly more on the expensive side for an attraction like this, however there is a lot to see!nThere are so many new models since the last time I went in 2021, and they are very well made. There is so many little details to see while you're wandering around.nThere is now a crazy golf mini course at the half way point which is a great added new feature!nI'd say it's definitely worth a visit if you have older children who will appreciate the finer little details involved, and won't want to run ahead and miss the intricate funny parts!nThe village is on a steep hill, so if you have mobility issues it may not be for you, however it is doable with a pushchair... but a child that age probably won't get the full appreciation of the attraction.nOverall, we really enjoyed the visit, especially as we went on an illuminations night. The free return within 7 days is great too, and makes it even more worth while.
A truly incredible place to visit! The level of detail and sheer scale of the models is truly remarkable. Set on a hill, you can lose yourself with the stories it tells. The time taken to make everything look just perfect is staggering. No doubt going round two or three times, you'll pick up on things missed the first time round. I'd highly recommend visiting!
I hadn't visited this model village for around 20 years. Wow childhood memories and so great to see it still going strong. The selection of buildings are just fab and to see it modernising as times move on was good. I'm sure the wind turbine will create some conversation. Keep up the amazing work !
Where do I start! Hidden in a little valley is a well crafted model village! Different sections have different buildings which are crafted to perfection. The added touch of interactivity within the little village along with the crazy golf included within the ticket price!! Well worth the visit and the money. Real hidden gem of the UK. Must visit attraction
Not having visited for about 50 years thought visit was long overdue and was not disappointed ! Loved the attention to detail and the witticisms . Crazy golf was included in the admission fee which we also really enjoyed and had a great 'nearly 3 hrs' there. Totally recommend
