Good garden centre section but the staff here are absolutely useless, the lady on the till didn’t acknowledge me at all and was speaking to the person behind me about an item. As I went to leave the store the it turns out the lady on the till had but the other customers item on my bill. It was the customer himself that had bought it to my attention, luckily I had my receipt and hadn’t left the store. Absolutely clueless!
Easy to find and free parking. As always excellent prices, really good value for money.
Good store, love the garden centre which has really good value plants. Loving the tropical ones that have been available recently at absolutely bargain prices. Lots available if you catch the store just after new deliveries.
Probably the best B&M store local to Northampton. Well stocked and polite staff. Good parking and decent garden centre
Lady serving at 9.05am today on checkout 3 was unbelievably rude, should not be in a customer facing role. Attitude totally out of order and was clearly not in the mood to be working! A call came over for assistance at checkout 3 which was the one I was approaching, so I said are you ok to serve and the look I got you would have thought I had asked her something personal! As I was unloading my basket an item was broken. I obviously hadn't noticed and said to her it's broken and she just stared at me so I asked could she please take it off me as I wasn't purchasing something that was broken. After looking at me blankly she eventually took it off me and slammed it on the checkout next to her. Could not have been more unhelpful. I only nipped in for a few bits for my husband who has had major cancer surgery. It's not too much to ask to be served by someone pleasant as you never know what someone else is dealing with!
