Today 27/09 we bought 6 chickens from here. The lady was absolutely faultless, she was so lovely and passionate about the chickens, and very good at catching them. She had long blonde hair with a pink flower in it. Unfortunately we didn't get her name but she deserves a lot of praise! Have got chickens from here before and they are always in great condition, the new group are settling in well! Thanks so much!
Our lovely Pepper came from the Poultry Centre a few weeks ago. We couldn't be happier, she's integrated into our existing flock really well.nThe staff where excellent and came across as more than just sales staff, they truly care about all the Chicken they have and sell.
I can not recommend this place enough. We had a trip out to the garden centre which was lovely. We then got our pure bred girls. We were thrilled to actually get all of the pure breeds on our list. Which is not easy to do after the shortage of breeds. We were helped by a lovely lady who really knows her stuff. Which is reassuring knowing that the new girls we were getting have been well looked after & are all super healthy. It has taken weeks to do this review as we wanted to add a photo & getting them all at the same time hasn't been easy. Thank you for all your help. We shall certainly be back again.
I came down here on the weekend and I like the variety of chickens, ducks, peacocks and quails! The workers were very knowledgeable and were happy to answer questions
The Poultry Centre is a beautiful place to visit! So many breeds to choose from and a gorgeous show pen to look at. We were helped by a man who's name I didn't catch but he was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, professional, and funny. He let us pick the exact birds we wanted and checked them over in front of us for peace of mind. He had a lovely way with the birds, which was really nice to see. He made our visit stress free and super lovely. All the birds were happy and healthy. Runs were in good condition and weren't overcrowded. The hybrids were free ranging. We were asked if we wanted wings clipping which we didn't but it's nice to be asked. He told us when they were last wormed and what they'd been vaccinated against. Can't fault this place at all. The only slight negative is that the birds here are quite expensive £60 for the Devon olive and £65 for the vorkerk - prices aren't listed online but you get what you pay for. We will definitely be returning and encouraging others to support this business. We were also told we could contact them any time is we need support. Definitely check them out. Lovely people and beautiful birds
