Gutted that they’ve installed self service checkouts, it’s always in the past been a great place to shop , really pleasant staff fast and efficient etc. now it’s totally soulless and awkward … I’ve always chosen Aldi as I believed that they treated their staff well and had plenty of employees compared to competitors… it’s hard to support the change away from people to Maschine ugh ..
It's still a shame that you can't get all your weekly shop in Aldi there is always 2 or three things that is either out of stock or they have stopped stocking for a while.. apart from that not bad and they have the best self serve of all supermarkets
Do all my shopping at Daventry Aldi, and they are consistently brilliant. Popped into Towcester branch while I was in the area. The shop is big modern and well laid out. However, the lady at the till was unbelievably rude. This member of staff should not be customer facing.
