Axa PPP have made the last 3 and a half weeks of my life a misery. My GP has referred me to a specialist for a diagnosis. My policy clearly states that I am covered for investigative treatment (in order to reach a diagnosis). Axa have successfully run loops around me the past 3 and half weeks. Today I have been told axa will not cover investigative tests as a GP can treat me. My GP does not know what is wrong and has referred me to a specialist. Axa wont authorise this. To make things worse, the dismissive communication from the customer service team has left me in tears on several occasions as well as telling me life changing news over the phone as if we were discussing the weather. But as it turns out this news is not a diagnosis, but apparently it was my fault for misinterpreting the call centres words. Sorry axa. So... 3 and a half weeks later, no diagnosis.... no closer to a diagnosis... But I am now an emotional and nervous wreck. Well done axa. Please, if anyone out there is thinking of signing up to Axa PPP, please only consider this company if you are interested in an deeply stressful month or so of your life as a free bonus of the health care package. Other bonuses that you may not realise is that they will not call you back, but they will give conflicting information and they don't actually cover what they say they will cover. Anything to stop paying out. Very little consideration of how people feel.
