Exellent service, noticed an issue with the insurance cover so I rang the office and it was quicly resolved over the phone.

Will never use this again. I was charged an extra day of rental due to being only 2.5 hours late, due to rain and roadworks. But the real problem was the condescending and rude staff at the customer care on the phone, to whom I asked what to do about my delay and the fact that this customer care (!) could not tell me in advance if I was going to be charged and told me to drive to the location to find out. He treated me like an idiot. Once there I found out I was going to be charged but due to being too far from anything (I was returning car at the airport) it was not practical for me to keep the car for the second day. SO I HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA DAY AND COULD NOT KEEP THE CAR......WILL NEVER USE THIS AVIS OR ANY OTHER AVIS ANYMORE.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Booked online - Wife named driver came to pick up vehicle - was directed out of the airport in the rain to another location. Sent back to airport and then directed by Shuttle Bus to Car Rental area down the road. No mention anywhere of security check on drivers licence - it has to match home address and address given to book car. The address is printed on the drivers licence!! Failed security check and no reason given so Wife was stranded at the Airport - will never use this shambolic company again

Avis LBA very Poor service, no car bays available for me to safely return car; nearly got run over by Avis employees unsafe drivers shifting cars.  Then an attendant approached me, unwilling to review car nor final bill because they said " too heavy rain", told me I could expect a final bill next day.  next day...got surprised by £500  unfounded charge LBA avis claimed a scratch (impossible, as car was kept in pristine private home car garage; was returned in exact same condition). After 30+ years renting cars (mostly with Avis) was astounded by the this apparent scam to collect additional money at Leeds Bradford airport office.

Appalling.

Arrived at 0930 Sunday morning to drop off car.  No AVIS bays to park in, when asking a Male AVIS attendant where to park it, he just ran into the office and said "not now ".  

Took an Enterprise member of staff 10 minutes later to tell me I can park it in one of their bays.

Missed bus back and had to wait an hour at the airport.

Another one of the attendants there told me that he was an "arrogant"  and ""miserable" bloke who always spoke about how customers were an inconvenience to him.

Needless to say, I'll be going elsewhere in future so I'm not inconveniencing AVIS with my custom anymore.
