Avernish Lodge is a fabulous luxury two-bedroom house in the North West Highlands close to Skye and the iconic Eilean Donan castle.Sleeping four and clad with local stone and slates, it offers superb facilities and breathtaking views of the dramatic highland scenery. Highly recommended.

Stayed here last week, stunning is not a good enough description for this place. Comfortable, modern, heated floors. Beautiful bath and the comfiest beds. Easy drive to Skye. Fantastic view of the lake. James the owner is simply the best owner ever. Fast communication and on the spot with everything. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. James was great at communicating with us before we arrived and giving advice. The lodge is beautifully finished in each room. The views are stunning. It's a five star experience. Just difficult to leave the place and after a week away I keep thinking about when I can get back there.

Beautiful place to stay - the cottage is superb and the location is gorgeous. It had everything I could possibly want, including underfloor heating which is quite the discreet luxury. It was nice and quiet the whole stay and waking up to the views straight out the window, with sounds of nature around was so refreshing. Hopefully get back here again soon!
