Sadly this place is now closed. Owner became tired of constant break-ins.
A traditional chippy. Great food and friendly staff. Proof that it's probably the best in the area by the 5 rating. Just bear in mind that Friday teatime is chippy time, often queuing out the door for your fish supper.
I dined at Ashtons Fish & Chips last Thursday. It is 30 years since I dinned in the dining room and it has not changed one bit. A real traditional chippy. The food was as excellent as ever. What consistency! Well done.
Absolutely fantastic! Ordered cod and chips and they were the Best ever and very reasonably priced
Busy,but great fish and chips. Immensely popular with locals. Usual fish & chips opening hours.
Excellent quality food - my cod was cooked to perfection - the dining room is a bit on the small side but adequate.
