Enjoyed a takeaway at the weekend. Tandoor cooked meat is a speciality with tasty Tandoori chicken and breads. The curries are not too spicy, well flavoured and they have a large selection. Poppadoms don't come as standard like some takeaways so if you want poppadoms be sure to add them to your order.

Forget all the other places!!!! The Ashoka is simply the "BEST" Indian restaurant/takeaway in Brighton & Hove and that is why as a family we have been eating there for over 30+ years.. Wonderful food, ambience and outstanding service every time!!!!

Service was really good and the dishes well presented and tasty overall. The rice was a bit too "oily" tho. Would go back.

Food and service was very good here, as always, but some concerns around the lack of social distancing and the number of other diners present for our Friday night meal. 10pm curfew strictly adhered to and staff wearing face masks though.

Great service and food is really good but not that cheap either. Staff server with a smile so you feel welcome
