As always, staff really friendly and you feel genuinely welcome. Food great. Always have the carvery and it never disappoints. Cannot comment about food from menu. See you next week.

Ashby Lodge has just changed to a different chain (March 2018) it now does a full carvery and it was very nice, but not a lot of choice on the veg. We had booked for a table of 8 but the table we were given was only good for 6 and it was close to the door and very cold. Seven year old granddaughter got more meat on her plate then what I did. Would deffo go back.

The newly refurbished Ashby Lodge is great! The carvery was spot on. The decor is very smart and up to date. The food prices are just right. The staff are very helpful and polite. A big mention to Steph, really nice lady to chat to. All in all yes very impressed. P. S: great idea doing a carvery!

Food excellent value for money Staff again very good However had to stand in a queue 25 deep and the poor chap kept disappearing to keep topping up the food on the carvery 10 minutes later l returned to my table to find my coffee had been served and was cold. After l had finished my dinner and returned to the pay point with my coffee some 15 minutes later still waiting at an unattended meal pay point l left. They need more staff and a manager needs to make themselves available at all times

Used to eat at ashby lodge regularly for years . The food standard went downhill. Thought we would give it a try after it changed management .Had an excellent carvery , after hearing mixed reviews since it was taken over and refurbished . For the price it was excellent value . The staff were chatty and friendly . All in all highly recommended.
