The service was great and the food was really nice. There was a little wait on the food being brought out, however when it was, it was fresh and hot.nThe ladies toilet only had one working toilet out of 3, which wasn't ideal as the restaurant was quite busy so you had to wait to use the toilets.
Went to the Ashby Lodge for a family lunch while in Scunthorpe visiting my mum. Hadn't been in years as I no longer live locally, but it was obviously a popular place, with a great carvery. Had the large plate, but a medium would've been plenty! It was delicious. A word of warning though - remember to register your car at the bar when you order. I forgot until later, and the manager was still able to do it, but it was a bit more hassle that she could've probably done without on a busy Sunday. She was very nice about it though.
Went in for a Carvery on a Tuesday Afternoon. There were plenty of tables available during our visit so we got seated with ease.nnThe carvery itself was good with great taste and options available. My only draw back to this is how thin the meat was being carved very thin slices.nnAs for staffing, there appeared to be no one serving behind the bar despite 4 people waiting to be served. Staff need to be more vigilant when customers are clearly waiting.nnI will not rush to come back but the food was okay.
We arrived at Ashby Lodge to have a carvery. We went up and purchased two carvery and drinks the staff were nice and friendly. We then went to the carvery. We had a choice of three meats. Turkey, Gammon and Beef. There was lots of vegetables and plenty of gravy and other side sauces.nnIt was very nice, we've been a few times already. I would recommend to go in this area
Super busy wait to order food at the bar so might be best to download the app if in a rush. Beef was amazing!! Let down by the stuffing though. There isn't much service tbh as your put on the table and go order at the bar and get your food. Others where asked if they wanted desserts but we wasn't so we went to the bar to order them. But overall we will come back.
