Good ASDA supermarket. They have everything you may need. From frozen food to fresh products. Halal meats and hot takeaways inside. They even have a Subway. Overall a pretty good place to buy your weekly shopping
It’s ok. Has everything that a large supermarket has. George clothing, pizza, Halal butchers, Subway, instant photo printing, and a Carpet cleaning machine rental added too. Also Petrol station and own car park. Next to it has a drive through McDonalds if you want to fatten yourself up too. The only let down is that it has no fish market, so your can’t buy fresh chilled seafood.
A good store with almost everything , right from groceries to clothing to accessories to home decor and kitchen ware. The variety is not much though. They also have a COVID vaccination center inside They have both cash and card payment options. The staff is polite. The store is fully accessible. The produce can be better. The store is generally crowded.
This Asda superstore is quite big. The choice of food and snacks is good. The price of some products is relatively cheap.
This store genuinely is the bottom of the barrel. Order any sort of delivery to come from this store and guaranteed it will either not come or half of the shopping is missing. Today, my order was cancelled after the store was closed, taking my £57, leaving me with no money and no food and THEN to top it off, the customer service agent cut the phone off me because I was upset about how I was going to feed my child. Asda old Kent road should just be avoided and honestly do not even bother doing home delivery because if it’s coming from old Kent road, you’re either not getting your order or not getting anything that you ordered. Terrible store, obviously terrible management, clearly lazy staff. No-one could even call to apologise. Ridiculous, no customer service and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Well, if not for the pure convenience of this shop, I would not shop at this Asda personally. The toilets are... Beyond words to describe how dirty and horrid those toilets have been when I have, rather foolishly contemplated using them, and have seen every one of the toilets unusable. Asda old Kent road really doesn't have toilets available to the public, because the ones they provide are disgusting. Truly disgusting. Anywhere would be a better alternative to relieve yourself, don't attempt using them. The car park is haunted by a homeless man, who is a known, to the store security at least, mugger. I don't know if I am allowed to upload his photo, but I have it. He steals from anyone and everyone. He is known to have stolen money from people's hands at the cash machine. He steals from people's shopping bags and will grab and run with your purse. For some reason, this is apparently acceptable, because the security know him. Very well. He is not allowed inside the store, but he is always in the car park. I have seen him and spoken with him. It wasn't until the Saturday just gone, when he stole from my mother, while she gave him change, that my opinion of this many changed and I was informed by the security team about his past offenses. So please do not let a 5,10 -5,11 ft tall, dark skinned male, with brown eyes. He has a strong accent, I'm not sure if it's Jamaican or a Barbados accent. Do not trust him. The store it's self has a wide selection of food, and even has a big children's ware, more little girl clothes and then women's. The men's clothing area is not that wide. They have a subway and a pharmacy inside. The pharmacy on average are good. But the waiting can be very, very long at times. So go pharmacy before you shop Some of the staff are nice, some are damn rude.
I had my order cancelled because an unprofessional and lazy delivery driver of the name Ebenezer Taylor was too lazy to deliver my shopping to my door step. He had the audacity to tell me to go and get the shopping myself in which I told him it was his job to do so. He then drove off and cancelled my order. Asda you should not be having half hearted employees who cannot do their job probably and I hope that this man is disciplined! This was such an inconvenience to me and my family and I shall not be doing any online shopping with Asda again! Order number 8882241002415
The shop is ok but often runs out of produce. They were out of cabbage, a basic product. Also they don't care that basket shoppers use trolley checkouts. It's annoying, as basket shoppers have more tills, and you end up wanting longer if you have bigger shopping.
No online stock checker and they don't answer the phone. whats the point in listing your number. A whole section for long sleeved shirts no short sleeve a wasted journey. collection system is good though you scan and wait with no queue
Got what I needed was in and out but I had a 2 month old baby I had to change I was waiting outside the baby changing room for 5 minus not knowing it was locked thinking Someone was in there. I was about to walk out and go to another shop but my mum asked the security guard if the baby room was locked knowing I was standing next to him saying I think someone is I. There we have to go Someone else after my mum asked him he gave us a key told us to lock it after. They should of had a sign also I just think it’s funny how the security new I wanted to go in there but he didn’t say anything.. but it’s a nice place to shop when it’s not busy
