Dreadful service for parcels. Had an order with Evri parcel deliveries; notification said, parcel ready for collection between 8am-7pm. Then received confirmation parcel was ready for collection at 7pm. The shop closed. Returned to collect parcel 8:40am the following day. Shop was closed. Asked the shops neighbours if they are still trading, they thought it was hilarious as owner is well known for opening and closing the shop whenever he feels like it. Tried calling the shop later in the afternoon on servers occasions. No answer on each attempt. Returned to the shop in the afternoon and it was open. Gave cashier my collection details; he tried giving me some random persons parcel, which had some else’s name and order number on! I described the parcel, cashier helpfully looked for it, but to no avail. Shop owner came over and rudely spoke to me, saying ‘what do you want me to do about it’, so I left the shop and contacted original retailer for a refund. Original retailer tried calling the shop. When they eventually got through, shop owner was once again very rude and abrupt. I don’t know who is at fault for the missing parcel, but the shops business practices were appalling and Evri parcels should not use them. You’ve been warned. Don’t use this shop for parcel collections. Note; shop uses various alliances, which adds to the confusion; Euro Shopper. Premier and East Street Supermarket. They are all the same place!
Shop is well stocked and staff are friendly but DO NOT try and depoit Monzo bank accounts there, they are no help at all even though they have PayPoint.
Use this shop frequently for years, never had an issue always clean and good service.
