Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff .I went into the shop on Friday 30th sep and I had a £50 note and for no reason other than he didn't want to accept it he would not let me use it even though no where in the shop did it say £50 notes not accepted and he took it and checked it so he knew it wasn't counterfit. Discrimination at its best .
Went in yesterday, a lovely lad helped me, went in today was not a positive experience with the woman on the self checkouts, made me feel foolish, when I was just over tired.
Living locally I have enjoyed having this little asda nearby to pop in for essentials. But honestly, the staff, particularly one, has recently become more and more rude towards me, questioning my shopping, laughing and sniggering at what I am buying, swearing and being rude to other customers. This has gone on for a bit now and initially I shrugged it all off. Sadly, won't be shopping here again.
Went yesterday and woman on checkout was really suspicious when I asked to use my blue light card. She said I could only use it if my payment card matched the name. I felt she was quite rude, not what I expected. Had my pass, she could have seen but was really not happy to accept it was me and it was genuine. Maybe I don't need 10% off if treated like that. I can easily go elsewhere and probably will.
Not too, great on paking for disabled ,only a few parking bay's inside seems to be dark an a little tight to get around, staff very helpful an well set out
I visited this store, as I often do, and was impressed by a member of staff who went above and beyond her duties. I was somewhat befuddled as I was rushing round, and when I got to the auto checkout I thought I’d lost my purse. It was about 11.30-11.45, and the lady who was on the checkout desk came over to me. I told her I was going to try and find it in my car, and when I returned she’d found it for me. I was unbelievably grateful to her and wish I’d got her name. I hope the lady in question gets this compliment as she thoroughly deserves some recognition for her friendliness and helpfulness. The date is 10th. June.2021.
Lost a lot of long time staff recently and replacements aren't all customer focused. Stock is improving but selection is very hit and miss mostly miss. Prices aren't great either.
Was okay only been here once while staying with family
This store is ok but gets busy at times it has a small carpark and cash point but if you want to pay for shopping self service is faster and some of the re use bags if overloaded the handles snap it is clean and tidy shelf space is good for the size sandwich stock seems to be small and can run out
I've just paid my last visit to this store because of the' keep the customer waiting policy'. You dive into a queue that does not look too long and a voice chirps up 'I'm closing now'. So I have a rant at a supervisor whose standing around doing nothing only to be told well she's got something else to do . Something more important than serving customers. Boycott Asda store until they learn how to treat loyal customers. They do not deserve your custom. I don't have long to live .I can't afford to spend what precious time I have left queaeing at Asda.
