As expensive as Waitrose in London.. and then some. Not much variety in London we are spoiled but good quality.
I came to booths a few weeks ago and went into the store with a service user who has complex needs . I have to be with this server 24/7 while I support them. I bought some food from the store while my service user went to the cafe for lunch .I bought my lunch and sat with my service user as I have done for the past 5 years as I we was enjoying lunch in the cafe a member of staff approached me saying I can't eat my lunch in the cafe as this goes against their rules .I explained that I'm a support worker/ carer and didn't want to talk about my service users disabilitys in front of everyone in the cafe and my service user but the member of staff pushed the issue and got another member of their staff to come over and try to stop eating my lunch .I explained I have done for 5 years and had no issues. My service user is a regular customer and is happy to eat and your cafe .The members of staff behind the counter found this amusing and were staring .I put my food away and was disgusted at how me and my service user and I were treated. I then left with my service user, who has complex needs, said they made him feel like we couldn't eat our food together and was mentally anxious and wanted to leavennThis has also happened on another occasion with my service user and a family member.nnMy food was bought from your store but as you have a sign that isn't very clear I can not eat my food in your cafe with my service user. So I will be posting this all over social media platforms and also contacting head office to make them away that you ulverston store is not disabled friendly. I will be contacting the local paper to tell as many people to avoid your ulverston store.nnKind regards
Went here solely because we needed to charge our car. Supermarket was really nice with lots of good quality options. I expect its on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for. We also ate at the cafe which was good food and friendly service. Thank you.
Great service and a wide ranging selection of goods at reasonable prices. Service from staff was excellent. Although we didn’t use it. There is a cafe and toilets on site too and accessible parking
We are on the way to Scotland and need to charge our electric car. That’s why we went to this little cafe in Booths supermarket.nnThe environment is surprising “IG-able” and food is cheap but good. Very satisfied. Highly recommended!
