hope you will be rewarded"},{"text":"This weekend i visited this ASDA in Grimsby. I was distraught and disappointed when i was abruptly told i could not buy a rice-cooker in store and shooed away abruptly by a discourteous staff member, i felt like a pigeon. Don’t waste my time, so bad-mannered of this middle-aged woman to speak to others in this untactful tone. If this is the new ASDA service standard, please advise the people. Otherwise, ASDA must do something about this branch. It has been nothing but appalling towards someone who is a non-local and unfamiliar with what ASDA and ASDA Grimsby Supercentre offer to customers."},{"text":"This is a review for the in-store Asda cafe only... On a recent trip to Asda, Grimsby we decided rather than grabbing their takeout sandwich meal deal, we'd try their cafe. Bad idea, we should've stuck with the sandwich, which funny enough you couldn't buy in their cafe, which bearing in mind it was only 1pm, lunchtime, not 3 or 4 in the afternoon, seems quite ridiculous. In fact they had very little of anything, a choice of 2 sorry looking sub rolls for £4.50, 1 toasted sandwich or about 6 hot food options, and the man said that was it, they couldn't make one. The menu is not only very basic, but hardly any choice, which considering it's inside a supermarket with everything to hand is really quite pathetic. So, with no sandwiches on offer, and not much else to choose from, we ordered 2 cheeseburgers & chips, a tea and Americano coffee. Not many of the tables had been cleaned, but found one, had our drinks, and waited for the food to arrive. The drinks were OK, and eventually we did see a lady going around clearing the tables, but not really cleaning them. The food arrived in a lidded plate, had it just been microwaved? Don't know, the chips were OK, and the actual burger patty was quite nice, but it was a very sorry, and basic burger in a horrible tasting small regular roll, not a burger roll. Literally just a burger in a roll with a cheese slice, that's it, no salad, even as a garnish Considering it was a £5.90 £15 total, you could get something much better than this almost anywhere for the same price or less, probably even McD's. A huge disappointment, I've still given 2 stars, because the cafe area looked quite nice, and was fairly clean & tidy overall, and the service was OK. I've been to Asda cafe's in the past and they've been way better than this, with a lot more choice, but if they're all like this now, then I won't use them again, I'll stick to Morrison's, whose supermarket cafe's are very good, much better choice, food and presentation. As for the Asda store itself, it's great, plenty of choice, including clothing & homewards. Next time I visit Asda, I'll just get a pre-packed sandwich if it's lunchtime. Come on Asda, you can do better than this."},{"text":"Love Asda, great staff, always go the extra mile to help, loads of choice and prices are not too bad either"},{"text":"Second time I've been here and I'm always happy with the selection they have here!"},{"text":"Don't try to ring them 1 you can't get throw the automated service just tells you things like go online go visit your store that's alright unless you physically can't use the internet or you can't visit your store and after generally need help this is why I use Tesco's at least you can get through to a person Edit .....
