Both me and my nan went to the Asda pharmacy to get her medication. The shutter was half up as we saw a lady come out. She said go in and you will be seen so we did. We wanted there for 3 minutes until 2 male's came out. One was a small Indian man, the other one was English, and we was SHOUTED at told to GET OUT with his arms waving about. Behind the counter. I told him we was rude and he was not going to speak to us like that. He snatched the medication form out of my nans hands which made me more angry. extremely poor customer service. Don't like the store much anyway, all the staff look over worked and under paid and don't look happy. Didn't want to put any stars from this review, but had to other wise it wouldn't let me post it!
This shop never has anything in stock, so irritating! Literally every time I come they’re missing the essentials and I have to go to another better supermarket to do another shop and I’m left wishing I’d never bothered coming in the first place.
The staff are just outright mean and I faced racism from one old male white staff member. Better to shop on your own and just self check out. Help yourself out in this store. If you approach any staff member, you will be met with disappointment. Truly horrible experience and I would suggest Tesco in Highwoods or Lidl over this rubbish store any day.
This supermarket is on my doorstep, I don't drive, and I still do not use the main store anymore! It's often half empty, as you can see. Both the Click & Collect and delivery service are absolutely atrocious I've lived here 5 years and decide to give them another chance every so often - I ALWAYS regret it. I have never had an order without items missing not out of stock or substituted, just missing. The checkouts are usually understaffed and the staff seem miserable probably from all the customer complaints they have to listen to. The food quality is average at best. They are priced similarly to Tesco or Morrisons. Save the stress and go there instead. The only reason I enter the store at all now is for the pharmacy, which is almost as bad as the main store but the only one in walking distance. I now don't leave until checking my meds as I regularly receive the wrong dosage or the wrong amount of tablets. Once I even received medication that wasn't mine with someone else's name and address on the label. This is, by far, the worst supermarket I have ever been to or ordered from.
Fresh chicken packs out of date and fridges very dirty , lots of empty shelves especially fruit/veg. Looks like they've had a 'lockdown'. Disappointing.
Went to this store yesterday as I always go here before Christmas but I found the store has lost its sparkle of Christmas time, there weren't any even any Christmas music playing. Plus I found a member of staff who was doing a online shop pick standing on the front plastic bit in front of the food in one of the meat aisle I'm sorry but that goes against hygiene, health and safety issues !!!! How disgusting !!! Plus there should be more checkouts for larger trolley shops as it very hard do this at a self checkout
I accompanied a friend to return quite a few items that she bought online. We were confused and unsure how to make the returns. We stopped an assistant whose name is Leigh and she was most helpful. Quickly and efficiently she sorted all the items. She was friendly, patient, understanding and professional and made our visit so much less stressful than we expected. Leigh is a credit to your store.
Way too many self serve tills and not enough proper checkouts. Chaos on the self serve, not enough room and people standing around waiting for a member of staff to come sort issues out on the tills. If you want to stand out from the rest and impress your customers maybe go back to a proper checkout and serve your customers the proper way instead of expecting us to serve ourselves…
WARNING: False advertising in store! Looking at your shelves, seeing the items marked "MAIN" and "SIDE", which were alongside the shelves marked as such, we picked up our lunch and went to the till. As I had an energy drink it needed to get age confirmed which is fine of course. However I queried the meal deal not coming through, which your staff member shrugged her shoulder and said "we don't do it anymore". I said that is ridiculous, you still have the banners on the shelves advertising it as such, to which her uninterested response was "We just don't do it". I am absolutely disgusted at this. Not only in you not doing a meal deal in this economy, but to keep the signs up to scam customers into making purchases they don't want is downright fraudulent. If you don't offer the deal, perhaps you could get one of your many busy managers to stop chatting to each other like we saw and get them to remove the signs, so other customers are not caught out by your scam. Your lunch section had lots of people choosing the same main, side and drink items, so it's clearly expected as you have these signs up. We won't be purchasing from you again, if you are going to manipulate customers like this. BTW: Good Luck trying to contact the store to advise them of this. They have no complaint process other than phone calls. It's 2023, get an email ticketing system!
It’s 18.30 and there are 8 pumps shut and the 4 pay at pump only 2 open to use - queuing- shockingly bad ASDA !!! Terrible service
