I cant give zero stars google wont allow this, the place has gone downhill so badly, so fast its like the winter Olympics ski jump, or my chute not opening when i jumped out of a Hercules in 1982. The actual physical branch itself is superlative I've been banking there for some years coffee, seating area, LCD Tv the whole 9 yards. However the staff here ruin the place, I'm afraid "mission statement" style "bean counting" area and regional managers need to come in and start kicking bottoms, the attitude is awful, they don't appear to know where their coming from on. I don't get it in other banks but this 004.25 routine my wife and I have to experience every-time one walks in the door is way to clique and smacks short of observational paranoia. The best value would be to have staff like they have in the high street mixed in a location like this ? (Too many of them down there have had their feet under the table for way too long and need to be moved around taking them out of their comfort zone in unfamiliar surroundings). I've seen this sort of thing before in another sub branch of a rival company, where there was a long running scandal in situ which involved "some" staff being asked to leave the company altogether. If you must use the place, but I would take a flak jacket with you if you're a little quiet and sensitive. HSBC have real problems here and these have manifested literally overnight with "some" of the staff.
