Gotten progressively worse. The new gate system makes access very difficult. If you're disabled and need to use the toilet mid-shop, you can't without going through the tills. Emergency red cord in the disabled toilet is often tied up when it's meant to be floor length in case of a fall. Staff not all have become more unpleasant and rude. Needed help with the handheld scanner and was treated like I was trying to steal. My child was scanning and she was told off by a staff member for not adding the bags she's a literal child, made a mistake and clicked the wrong thing and was already trying to click back. ASDA bakery items have been raw wet dough raw in the middle, fruit punnets have been clearly moldy. A lot of staff just don't want to know and are very condescending and rude. You're either treated like a thief or a burden. Just very unpleasant to shop there now
Thought id grab a few last minite items as the store shuts at 9. Get there at 8.53 to be met with locked doors and staff behind it grinning from ear to ear signalling the shop is shut.nWhenever you go in and the self serve tills need staff to come over theyll all be stood the opposite end having a chin wag and must finish their conversation before coming over to you, which is infuriating when youre stood there looking directly at them and they know you are waiting for them the tills flashing red so they know theyre required to come over. A lot of staff here are purposefully ignorant , slow and unhelpful; which is a shame because a handful of staff here are lovely, and do go above and beyond to help you.
When shopping here you’re likely to experience difficulty getting around due to staff unpacking, empty shelves and lack of choice due to online shoppers and close sell-by dates on many fresh items.nYou may be kicking empty boxes and packaging left on the floor, noticing the constant rise in prices and the long queue for tills whilst the scan and go area often stands empty with lots of staff stood around to assist when there are waiting customers queuing up.nDon’t forget to scan your shop with the Asda app you used to be asked if you had every time you visited.. very few staff will remind you to do so now.
went in there to get hairspray and pop . hairspray was advitised online at 1.99 went in and had to pay nearly 4 pound for 1 bottle and it wasn’t even a big bottle. then walked round to the men’s hair products to find it was so much cheaper 1.50 for hair mouse/styling gel. ABSOLUTELY PISSED OFF
Just arrived for click and collect. Order hadn't even been done. Waited 15 minutes then told would be another 15 minutes. 30 minutes to wait, could have done it myself in that time. First and last time I will use Asda.
