Aldi

Some good quality food. I like their quiche, DAIRY ice creams, veggie pizza's & washing powder the best and my partner always buys milk, bread, cereals and razors from Aldi! I don't think everything is great value though. Cushions, clothes, household items, etc, etc aren't as good value as you'd expect, in my opinion.

Always come for our shop and get plenty for our money, kids love the food from there and staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Only down side is sometimes some products go off the shelves and dates aint too good on some stuff so check dates but other then that its a fab place to shop.

The manager (a young Asian man) was extremely rude to us at the checkout. We were buying a large Christmas shop, we had my 5 year old daughter with me and he refused to serve us for a bottle of fake Baileys. I am 30 years old. My friend had id. We clearly were not under the age of 18. More than anything though I was extremely offended by his rudeness. Other customers commented on his manner also. Not only has it meant we have spent an hour in a busy, run down Aldi for no reason, we now have to and do it all over again in Asda, on Christmas Eve. Terrible Service
