I have used Ascot cars for a few years and during a recent journey to Heathrow Airport, my travel money fell out of my bag. I was notified by the driver via Ascot cars and they held the money for me until i collected it from them after being abroad. That is an exceptional service and completely trustworthy that i am delighted to report as it was a substantial amount of money. I could not recommend them more, excellent and totally reliable. Ascot cars is one of the best businesses, regardless of it being a Taxi company, that I have ever met. I have been doing business through schools and hospitality for 35 years. I encountered ascot cars when I was leading a group of 250 staff and students from 14 different countries; excited, jetlagged, naive, passionate young people. Here in the UK to take part in an apprentice style competition with Oxford international Education group. The company structure is unusual, in modern days, is based on family and faith; the majority of the drivers being Muslims. Some cars are Owner operated, while others belong to the company – all being immaculate Inside and out. In three weeks, I have ordered 100s of taxis and not a single one has been late. I have tested their systems by leaving items and money to play a game to see what would happen. I shouldn’t have bothered because being family based and faith based the ethics of this company are without reproach. The driving is safe professional and calm with explanations given as to changes of route to avoid traffic. The office hub is like a flight control centre with men and women treating each other with equal respect. Drivers are quiet and perceptive or chatty and friendly, according to the needs of the customer. And all this while fasting during Ramadan this is a model company that should be copied by many others, and I think all the drivers for the efforts in keeping my young people safe.
Quick service and friendly staff. I ordered and paid in the office outside Ascot train station the 80s decor could be updated!. Worked out the same price as an Uber. The driver had a comfortable, top spec Mercedes.
Was recommend Ascot Cars on Facebook via a community group post response. I’m so glad to have found Ascot Cars. There quote and what we were charged they had a card machine was the same so no haggling with the driver, they texted confirmation, answered email queries quickly, drivers were polite and helpful, the cars were of good standard and they were totally on time! All sounds too good to be true but that’s what service we had and I felt compelled to write a review. We went to Royal Ascot but will also use for airport trips etc now we know they are this reliable.
Would’ve been five stars if I could pay by card at the end of the journey, which admittedly it was possible but it involved the driver phoning their office, which they didn’t seem to want to answer. This meant my partner had to run off and get some cash from an ATM at Heathrow which when we’re there for an international flight adds unnecessary stress to the situation. Overall great service let down by a simple complication. If I was in the area I would use them again but would get the cash out ahead of time.
Charged me more than quoted at the airport, after discussing with the office reluctantly paid the new price. I was assured that this would be the price for the return journey, upon returning home I pulled the £120.00 for the driver which included a tip for him, he then informed me the price was now £130.00 , needless to say I told him that he was taking the rise, I gave him £130 and informed him that I would never use Ascot cars again. Your loss.
Lets be honest we all use Uber because we think its easy, but I called these guys tonight and they were superb. The fare they offered was lower than Uber, the car was better spec, clean and there was no messing around on service or timing. Okay, they do not have an app that bills automatically but these guys are better at driving you. That must be the important thing. I'm switching.
My business and I have used Ascot Cars for over 25 years. They recently went to get my partner in Brighton when trains were a let down really good service I fully recommend and really good pricing. We would not use anyone else especially to get us and collect from the airport .
Always reliable and available. High level cars with choice of different models for different needs. Drivers are very friendly and safe. Highly recommended!
