Again, just horrific. I have travelled all over Europe and think this is the worst airport I have encountered. I absolutely cannot stand coming back and resorted to departing from other London airports. The security is a dreadful experience - I understand the necessity of doing their job but come on - some respect, consideration and professionalism to passengers would be appreciated. I was yelled at and rudely accused of being stupid while left waiting for my luggage which they forgot to hand to me... Yes, security is important and I agree with that but I think there is no need to manhandle people. Also the one bag for liquids rule? Seriously? I almost missed my flight another time because they did not allow me to have liquids neatly packed in two sealed plastic bags. No, I had to take them out and stuff them into one.  
The airport is made to make you miss your flight because everything is so far away, the are too many people everywhere - I think it is simply not planned well to withstand crowds. There are not even enough seats to sit while waiting.
Never again - unless I have no choice.

Absolutely ridiculous airport. For sure one of the worst in the world. Even 3rd world countries have better airports than this one. 

Everything is made to slow you down. Incompetent security check followed by miles of shopping areas. You feel like in a shopping mall. Then you have to walk 10 more minutes to get to your gate. 

Get there 3 hours in advance. At least.

The airport held my plane for 2 hours! Not only that but we had to walk ages to reach the border from where we were dropped off. My luggage was kept for more than half an hour and there was no staff updates along the way. I would give it 0 stars if I could but at least the dude at the border was nice. Even the airport in Tanzania was better organised than this.

Very small airport , friendly staff. No quee. I recommend this airport. We had no issues going through security. Nice food healthy options too. Don't forget the 100ml rule I got sucker punched 😭 cost more than the price of item to send home.

I've flown from here a number of times and have always had a smooth journey. The layout of the new departure lounge would be better if it was more open plan and less like a shopping centre. There is a free drop off point at the mid stay car park from there you can a free bus to the terminal.
