There are a few chippies that I'd recommend locally. This is the best of them. Good range, sensible prices, clean presentation. Sea air and good fish and chips is a good mix. Right next to the train station. So you can time your visit to coincide with their opening times. Top place. Made myself hungry writing this review...

Chips were excellent, golden in colour and very tasty. Fish was nicely fried too but disappointingly small for the price. The ambiance in the takeaway area is very good with clear, television style displays and good humoured banter with staff and customers whilst you wait. We will return soon and try out the cafe.

This a lovely friendly cafe. Great service. The chips are the best I've had in a chip shop. Very reasonable prices. Great views of the sea and the viaduct. Will defiantly go there again.

Usually excellent.recommend to anyone but that night the oil must have been chilled as the batter was soggy and cold.It wouldn't put me off going again as I know how good it almost always is

Great Fish n Chips..I also recommend the battered black pudding or haggis.. Pick em up (a bit of a wait but Well worth it) then sit n watch a Sunset over Arnside Bay.. Perfik
