Extensive Indian menu all cooked to order - give yourselves at least 90 minutes if you’re going to have starters and mains. They appear to no longer sell alcohol but I think you can now bring your own although I’ve no idea if they charge for corkage.
Really nice Indian restaurant with good service and tasty dishes they also deliver locally, I would ring and book to not be disappointed it can get busy
Called to order takeaway for the first time and they said 30 minutes for 2 mains and 2 rice. I called and waited in their carpark. There was basically no one in the restaurant sat at tables. Went after 30 mins to collect and pay and they had my order there written down with total price and had only put 1 rice on order. So I said that I ordered two rice's. He amended and I knew he was over charging and I said can you add that all up again and he made some excuse and blamed another worker for the mistake of overcharging. I was told on the phone of 10% discount if paid in cash... i didn't get that either. After paying, he then said one of the dishes we ordered was taken with another takeaway, and we would have to wait a further 10 minutes. Finally it came and when we got home there was only 1 rice dish. So I called them and they just said sorry plz come back. To add to all this. The food was tasteless and perhaps the worst Indian food I've eaten. We left half of it. So to sum up; they made us wait 40, then overcharged us, to then give less than what we paid for and ordered, to serve the worst food an Indian has ever cooked for me. My English mother cooks Indian 10 times better. DONT GO! Is my advice. I will never go again. EVER!
Have eaten from here many times and it’s always been fabulous. We ordered a take away yesterday and the food was very poor!nThe naan bread was plain and it was supposed to be a chill naan. It also looked bought in rather than made on the premises. The madras curry was like soup with a very small amount of chicken in it. The flavour of lemon was over powering and ruined the dish. I called them to complain and all I got was a very dismissive “you are the only one to complain today” He talked over me while I was trying to explain and continued to talk to others in the restaurant while on the call. They did offer me a replacement but that wasn’t the reason for my call and I politely declined. It’s not always about the issue but how you put the issue right. They failed on both counts!
We rang to book a table, said they were very busy and there would be a wait for the food. They said we could have a pickle tray while we waited.nnFood was very tasty and the menu offered a good variety of starters, mains and drinks.nnWhen we paid we felt full of nice food but we had lots of extras added on to the bill. Pickle tray £6.50 which we thought was complimentary and a added charge to take a way food £2. So 2 starters, 2 curries and 2 drinks £72nnParking was a bit of an issue. There is parking available on site but the bays are shallow and tight. They get a lot of customers collecting take a ways so I was a bit concerned about that as I also saw a sign that said they do not except responsibility for accidents in the carpark. Don't know if this is a regular problem
