Travelling on the canal. Planned to arrive at canal turn for 12.00 Tuesday 27/3/18 for fish n chip lunch. Found not to be open. No sign in the window explaining why. Should have been open at 11.45. No lights on, the range not even heating up, nobody the. Went around the corner to North Rd, less than 100 metres away. They were open and enjoyed immensly. Thing was, thete were about 4 couples with families who did the same as me.

The chips were slightly under cooked and the fish look quite small although I didn’t buy one.  Glad I didn’t. Better chippys in the area

Called in last Friday.. Lovly friendly people behind the counter. Order steak pudding, chips, mushy pie (well nice) good price too.. Definitely recommend this place (best one in Carnforth) A1
