I bought TV fire stick FHD from this store ,when I tried at my TV I wasn't happy with quality of picture so I went day later to the store and I asked them to replace it as I just realized after tried it on my tv and device it completely new with package. The manger was so rude and refused to upgrade it even I explained I am not happy with the picture . Before this I was always buy things from argos as they care about the customers satisfaction but apparently I am wrong . unfortunately I don't have option more than giving them abd review .
I bought washing machine first of August from Argos store ,I was told it will be delivered 28 of August , when the day reached given time slot ,told on text message DHL will deliver the item,at last minute phone call I was told driver didn't come for work no one to replace them ,They will re-arrange it for 13 of September and they never answer phone calls . What a disappointment and heart break. Business about trust if trust is gone you lose that customer
I would have given it 0 stars if there was an option. The staff here are absolutely rude and unprofessional. The manager Mark especially and his staff need to retrain in customer service. Ive worked in retail for over 20 years & no way have we ever treated our customers with such disrespect and accused them of lying if they genuinely had a complaint about a product purchased from their store. Not admitting that there may be a possibility that the product was faulty, instead insinuated that we were lying to try and get a refund. So disappointed that a big retailer like Argos employs incompetent staff who have no people skills. Handing customers a phone number to complain to and just walking away without bothering to resolve the problem. Such a shame as I have been a loyal customer of Argos for more than 25 years. You have unfortunately lost my custom. Not that I think this manager will be bothered to be honest. No wonder there will be a number of Argos stores closing soon. It's having the likes of staff like these running their business for them.
ZERO stars. Online and in-store have no communication. Deliveries delayed. No-one gives correct info on when to collect which my first order wasted 2 trips to them. Amazon, Curry's PC World and other places that have done right by me 100% will FOREVER now be my places to shop in future. Argos LOST a customer and I see it going the way of Woolworth's and Debenham's!

Nipped in today to purchase a 4G Router, Becky served me and I was delighted to be greeted with polite friendly professionalism. A true ambassador for the company. ARGOS, you have a trainer/manager there, use that talent as others will benefit here.
Bought a dishwasher one month and a half ago. 3 attempted deliveries failed, only told us on the day when we were waiting for it we don't live in the house that had to be delivered, not even in the same town. Excuses including "we didn't load your dishwasher in the van" and "we have lost your dishwasher". The 3rd delivery failed didn't even had the decency to give us a phone call to tell us. Not that cheap if you have to waste 3 days waiting for end up asking for a refund. Absolutely outrageous.
Poor service, starting with 10 minute wait in the queue with elderly father. Had to ask for someone to come to the till which eventually did only to be told we had to reserve the item and come back later after 4pm! Not impressed with overall service.
I did all online and was location is the Argos Hulmes store while bying it. I bough Garmin sat nav for £129 and it was damanged, called custmer care for exchange , they generated order for collection and new item delivery but they only came to collect the item, Not delivered new item . Instead they have refunded the amount and cancelled the order from there side without my permission. Also they asked me to order new item which is costing me £159, now who will bear this extra cost. They should have send me exchange item but they did not and cancelled my order even I dont wanted to cancel it.
Use click and collect here a lot - Linda is absolutely brilliant. Patient and helpful, and even let me charge my phone for a minute to recover a collection code. Unfortunately the others aren't as great, one making me wait 15 minutes as he was serving someone else - the 'someone else' being a guy without his collection code or means to recover it, when an organised customer like myself was visibly in a hurry and ready for a swift transaction. Once again thanks to Linda for being customer focused and helpful.
