I visited the store a few weeks ago to seek some advice on purchasing a new camera. Lewis was really helpful and knowledgeable and introduced me to the perfect camera. Despite stating that I had to intention to buy, Lewis was still extremely welcoming and helpful which is why I came back to the store a few weeks after to buy my camera from him. He assisted me in what accessories I would require, after care and how to set up and use my new camera. I can’t recommend Wex enough and will be my one stop shop for all my camera needs. Amazing store, a vast collection of high quality products and excellent customer service. Also a big thank you to Jack who also gave me excellent advice and a run through on how to use the different features on my new purchase.
Excellent customer service! I originally talked to Marco over the phone, he more more than helpful discussing potential finance options and gave multiple options on how I could pay for what I needed. When I arrived I spoke to Adam who was of great help, nice, chatty and efficient. I ended up not using finance but both employees left me feeling welcome and well looked after. Will definitely be back to Wex Manchester for future camera needs!
This was my first visit at Wex and it was brilliant. I wanted my first full frame Sony camera and was guided to three best deal I got thanks to Jack to the Sony specialist in the store. Great camera shop, probably my favourite in Manchester. They have a huge range of products and very friendly staff. I bought a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 lens today and Marco was very helpful, even took the lens and let me try it on the same model of camera I own, so that I could be sure it was the right purchase. Very happy - this wasn't my first visit and it definitely won't be the last!
I've been using Wex for couple of years now and it's always a pleasure to step into their Manchester shop to get some new stuff. Recently I decided to make the transition from F mount to Z mount and I'm looking to go again and trade in all my glass. Big shout to Adam who was the hero while choosing a lot of cards to match my specific type of photography. Keep up the great work guys, you're top from my point of view!
Three amazing visits in the past week. Great service from Jack and Adam. Good communication, excellent trade in value for my lenses and overall a great experience. Paid a great price for a second user lens which was covered by the trade in value raised whilst swapping from the N camp to the C camp. Used to really like the place when it was Calumet but love its new vibe as WEX. Adam, glowing enough for you? Jack, thanks for cleaning up the lenses to achieve the best value.
Visited the store for the first time to ask about getting my camera cleaned and serviced. Advised it would probably cost the same as purchasing a new camera . . . Very honest guy behind the service/repair desk sorry can’t remember his name but he had a beard and he would remember me because of the way I told him I used my camera He then handed us to Jack to talk about a new camera. Great advice from Jack Walton. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt like a valued customer from everyone in the store. Went out a little lighter in the pocket than expected but a very happy lady! 10/10
The shop is in a great location. No problem parking and lots of kit laid out for handling and viewing. Very helpful staff. I brought some gear in for part ex and Marco was very helpful with that transaction. He was also knowledgeable when I was making enquiries about my options for my next purchase. It’s well worth visiting to actually see and handle cameras and equipment on display. I’ve always found the staff very helpful. Highly recommended.
I needed a replacement for my daughter's unrepairable Canon IS 80/200 lens. Adam Bowler was very helpful and found me one in the Leeds outlet and had it sent over. A quick and efficient service. I would highly recommend Wex.
Went to Wex today to get a Sony FX3 and to find out a bit more about it. Spoke to Adam who has a fantastic wealth of experience and knowledge and he managed to talk me through everything I needed to know, answer all my questions, and help with things I'd not even thought about. I walked away really happy, with a new camera and a total respect for Adam who I'll be shopping with from now on given the information and help he can provide ahead of purchases. Zero hard sell, lots of patience if you need help or advice, and you can have real confidence in your purchase when you take it away with you. Nice one Adam - great customer service and good to meet you.
