Did a click and collect here Christmas eve. Lady on door with dark hair was controlling the queue really well and very upbeat and friendly, putting us in a good mood despite the wait and was wishing people a happy Christmas as they left. Really lovely! Disappointing the staff serving were so miserable. They were obviously rushed and tired but the attitude of the 2 women there was bordering on rude.
I visited here a few weeks ago to pick up a bookcase unit I ordered via click and collect. When I arrived, I was served right away. But, when they wheeled out my flat packed bookcase, they made me wheel over this very heavy and tall two pieced, flat packed shelf from the store to my car by myself on one of their kinda dodgy trolleys without offering assistance! Not sure if they offer to help you get your heavier items to your car anymore due to covid or anything, but it was definitely a two person job. But the worst part was, there were a few capable staff members who watched me struggle and could have offered to help, but stood and chatted on the shop floor instead. Thought it was kinda rude. Aside from that complaint though, got to collect my order on the same day I prepaid which was convenient.

Terrible reception every time I come her, the staff went to check if my £50 note was fake it took her 7 minutes to come back other customers have come, ordered and gone & I'm waiting for my notes to be checked. Always something different with the staff here
Slow to serve and moody staff members I provided solutions to my issue but because it’s not protocol wasn’t deemed ok but these solutions were very viable and acceptable anywhere else
Yesterday I visited your Pipps Hill Store with my sister to purchase some flat pack bedroom furniture. Unfortunately neither of us are in a position to lift anything that's heavy! One of your staff 'Tom' was very helpfull. He found a trolley for us, put the boxes he could on it, and he carried the other one while we pushed the trolley to the car. He packed it all into my car for us before taking the trolley back. Its a pleasure in this day and age to be helped by such a pleasant young man. Please pass mine and my sister's thanks and appreciation on to him. I would also like to say that we both felt very comfortable whilst in the store. All Covid precautions were in place. Kind Regards
Have been to store for the last three days to attempt to pick up my purchases... queued for over an hour in an attempt to pick up each time and had to bail because I've got school runs to do... I have a very small window of time to attempt this errend and I've failed each time. I've paid for the items I was want them handed over. I've tired calling the store but the automated service is absolute rubbish. So frustrating.
Absolutely disgraceful service very rude to my disabled boy The manager should find a different job maybe working in Road sweeping what an absolute di*khead and for the rest of the staff Should get a job on our garbage truck
I don't really leave reviews but felt compelled to after my visit this morning. Even though there is mayhem everywhere and the staff were under a lot of pressure I still received better customer service from the staff than I have elsewhere during calmer times. They all went above and beyond but I wish I took the name of the man behind the till who really went above and beyond as he really deserves recognition and is a real asset to the store
Rude!!! Bad customer service actually the worst I've ever had. Had purchased an item which turned out to be to big - a member of staff who served me was very rude saying because I'd opened the box I could no longer return the item. I have shopped at Argos for over 30 yrs and this experience has put me off for life.
