I have been coming her for years. It is a great shop staffed by people who know and care about music. They have a great selection of sheet music and a good array of instruments for lots of styles. Lots of piano and guitar, but also woodwinds and percussion. Also brilliant spot for musician gifting.
The ONLY music shop that’s still standing after 30 odd years and providing top notch merchants for numerous musicians , students, little humans. Some may not realise the joy they provided for the customers, it’s soul lifting. Thank you.
Great shop for a variety of instruments and associated items. Nice staff who are always helpful.
Went in to have Violin string replaced, did it there and then. Good price. Staff friendly and helpful, huge selection of music related gear. Ground floor large selection of keyboards and upstairs strings and electric guitars. Will visit again, firm yes.
cool place they let you test out the instruments too, had some cool vinyl on sale too
I love shops like this. Back in New York music shops like these have become extinct. They sell those bits that are required for instrument players like cleaning kits but also records, music books, and knick knacks. This is one of those shops that makes Sidwell St. worth visiting : They kindly honour student discount, as well.
Good stock of Guitars and amps, not a large drum department but i guess its not a popular. Went in and bought myself a Fender jack lead in a cool 50's surf blue edition and a couple of picks as i recently acquired a Bass guitar. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable, also a laid back atmosphere which was refreshing.
Cannot rate this place highly enough. Was served by Simon the manager and also I believe a gent called Phil. I’m a Brit who moved to Australia and have recently come back to the uk on holiday. These guys helped me buy a bass to keep practicing on, gave me great advice, left me alone in an unhurried environment to let me try one out and then were really supportive when I exchanged it for one more suitable for me. I was only buying economy/mid level equipment and yet the customer service was as though I was spending big bucks, and they even offered to set up both guitars. 5 stars and as I come back to the uk regularly this will now be my go to music store.
A great selection of everything you need. Always found the staff really helpful too
Very helpful and gave advice appropriate for my budget. Just bought a Roland FP30x electric piano. Highly recommended. Allowed me to test off the display racks with and without headphones, which is essential.
