Apple Orchard Campsite is an independent family run caravan and camping site situated in a rural location at the South East corner of the Forest of Dean set within the Severn Vale Plain. (adjacent to a traditional Gloucestershire apple orchard).

The site has wonderful views of the surrounding hills of the Forest of Dean and the famous May Hill crowned with its distinctive row of pine trees with a short walk to the River Severn at its famous Severn bore.

The site offers a central heated amenity block with free hot showers, disabled and toddler wet / changing room, with hand and hair dryers. There is a self-contained washing up, Chemical and Grey water disposal area.

We have 60 pitches with 48 electric hook ups (16 Amp) on a level site.

Lovely campsite, very clean and friendly host. There wasn't many showers, but didn't have to wait. More important, they were kept clean. Close to many interesting sights.
Just had 2 nights at this lovely campsite.. Lovely open field. Not over crowded.. Perfect bar/café.. Lovely friendly owners.. Can't wait to return next year..
Just returned from the Opus Rally which had been postponed for 2 years. Carolyn, Dave and her staff made us all so welcome. Pitches grassy and level, facilities really clean and a hog roast sourced by the campsite. Thanks Carolyn for being so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return as have had an amazing weekend. Would definitely recommend this campsite as a must!!
Lovely site, open with good size pitches. We took our sons dog and it was great to have secure field to let him off. Had afternoon tea there which was fantastic highly recommended all freshly home cooked. Good facilities lovely staff and the cider was great.
Just back from a great 4 night stay at a Venus Caravan Owners meet. What a fantastic site we'll worth the 8 jour journey to get there. Dave and the team are so helpful and friendly and the facilities are immaculate. The on-site bar/restaurant is great, not to mention the locally produced cider....delicious . On the Sunday they provided an afternoon cream tea which was just amazing. Only downside was they had ran out of their homemade sloe gin so never got a chance to sample it as by all accounts it was delicious. Would definitely stay there again if down in that area
Absolutely love it here. Peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of busy life excellent showers and toilets very clean!! Dog walking area in a orchard! They have goats and donkeys for the children to see! They have a cafe that serves hot food ,a bar and some essentials. Great place to come if you want to bring children back to nature. No attractions to spend money on so children can just play and use there imaginations!! Staff are all friendly brilliant place!
Warm welcome for the crazy ladies who camped in a tent in October. We'll maintained, friendly campsite. Restrooms: Always clean and tidy.
What a beautiful campsite! Tranquile and lovely, very clean and beautiful washing rooms. A perfect stay under apple trees and with sheepy neighbours. Very friendly owner and just a short trip to Glastonbury.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely weekend at a Venus Caravan Owners meet at the Apple Orchard campsite. Facilities all great and they were very kind in delivering us our very tasty cream tea as we were unable to eat in the cafe. Nice field to walk doggo too :
We had an absolutely wonderful time in a beautiful setting. Facilities we're clean and well kept, the site shop was well stocked and reasonably priced and the food was lovely. The staff we're top notch too. Can't wait to return.
