I have been here twice before but not since last Summer and I have to say it was delicious particularly the non meat dishes. However, tonight the dishes both meat and non were quite frankly inedible. The lamb was so dry and tough in both the lamb tikka and lamb shashlik both looked like the same dish that I couldn't eat it. The pilau rice had no flavour fennel seeds for example and was mixed with butter! I know that the definitely can do a lot better so I'm really dissapponted. To echo other's that have given it one star recently - yes one star from me and no return!!
For the 3rd time a now show after ordering on line. Just couldn't be bothered to chase them. £30 saved Update food arrived over 2 hours after we ordered it and over an hour later than the time given. We had to put it in our microwave to make it warm enough to eat
Brilliant customer service and lovely food too. Incredibly cheap as well. Will defiently be going here again.
Possibly the worst curry I’ve ever had, literally every part of the meal had issues. I would avoid at all costs, it’s as if the chef was actively trying to achieve a 1 star review. If so bravo my friend

I had my first takeaway from Saj today, and it was absolutely faultless! The delivery driver was smiley and friendly, the food smelt amazing, and eating it was an almost out of body experience!! I will DEFINITELY be having more takeaways from Saj in the near future... Maybe in a few days time? If the rest of their dishes are as good as the Jal Zala, I may never eat anywhere else again!!
What a little gem! Ordered last night and couldn't fault it! Chap on the phone was super polite and helpful, delivery was quick by again a very polite chap. Food was piping hot and super tasty. Portion sizes were also epic! What more could you ask for! We will definitely be back!
I love Saj. It’s the main place me and partner get takeaway from. If it were up to me we would have it every time! The food is a good price and is honestly delicious. I am especially obsessed with the korma and tandoori masala. I’ve tried a lot of other Indian restaurants and none can do it like saj. They’re also very generous with the popadoms.
Great food, very tasty and fast. My favourite place for a masala in the forest, would be 5* but the sag paneer is more sag than paneer
Foods nice, but prices don't add up and always short changed
